The Home Depot Foundation is proud to support the next generation of skilled tradespeople and spread awareness to individuals in search of their passion. With nearly 400,000 jobs available, there’s great opportunity throughout the trades industries. The Foundation’s Path to Pro program offers free education, hands-on training and certifications for youth, high school students, underserved communities, and separating U.S. military members.
The program covers essential skills in several trades, including:
HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
Plumbing
Electrical Work
Carpentry
Construction
INTERESTED IN GETTING YOUR CDL?
Artesia Truck Driving School is excited to offer seniors who are 18, or close to 18, the opportunity to obtain their CDL. There are scholarship opportunities, and evening and weekend classes are available. All you need to do is go to the school and fill out their form. Bring your license and any documentation that has your Eddy county address on it. There will be someone available at the office from 8:00am-2:00pm and from 6:00pm-8:00pm. :)
