Homecoming Friday is nearly here! A few last-minute reminders:
🛻🚎🚒🚗 PARADE
The AHS Homecoming Parade will begin at 4 p.m. Friday and will proceed east on Main Street from the Bulldog Bowl parking lot to Second Street. This year's theme is "Bulldogs Take on the World."
🎟😋 ENCHILADA SUPPER
Yeso Elementary's 54th Annual Enchilada Supper will run from 4-6:15 p.m. Friday in the Park Junior High School cafeteria. Plates are $10 each, and tickets may be purchased at the door. Dine-in and carry-out options are available.
🏵 ACCESSORIZE
The Artesia Bulldog Football Boosters will be at all elementary schools Friday morning selling eye blacks ($2) and temporary tattoos ($1), and the AHS cheerleaders will be selling Spirit Ribbons ($2) and special Homecoming Roster Ribbons ($3).
🎺 BAND ALUMNI
The Artesia band is inviting all Pride of the Pecos Valley alumni to join them on the field during halftime of Friday's game to help form the iconic "A" during "Onward, Bulldogs!"
📣 CHEER ALUMNI
Artesia cheer is also inviting all former AHS cheerleaders to join them on the track Friday to cheer on the Bulldogs during the Homecoming Game. Those who'd like a little warm-up first (and those who are interested in stunting or tumbling, as a waiver must first be signed!) can head up to the AHS girls' gym from 5-6 p.m. today to practice with the varsity cheerleaders.
💃🕺 DANCE
The Homecoming Dance will be held from 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in the AHS commons area. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
🏈 GAME DAY
If you haven't yet purchased your tickets to the big game, scan the QR code below to purchase online or visit the AHS Athletic Office at Bulldog Pit from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday. Tickets will also be available at the gate. All general admission tickets are $5 each. Cash sales will only be conducted until halftime at the gate, after which entry will require a digital ticket.

Thank you for an amazing first morning! All students are in class and busy learning all things Kindergarten.
We want to take a moment to clarify afternoon pick-up procedures. Your child’s teacher should have already shared the designated location where you will pick up your student, either the cafeteria or the gym. Just as a reminder you will come into the building to pick up your student. You MUST show identification in order for us to release your child. Doors will open 3:05 pm
If your child rides the bus, you may disregard this message. This information is intended for families who will be picking up students at the end of the day.
For pick-up, you have two options:
1. Park at Harvest and walk over to the school through playground gate.
2. Enter from Main Street and park in the east parking lot, if lot is full you will continue through the parking lot and turn right on Grand to park in the west parking lot.
**If those two lots are full you will need to circle back around on Main and enter at Harvest again, choosing one of the two options above.
